About the Event
Tired of emotional, physical and social isolation in the age of Covid? Guests at the FIRE Retreat enjoy a comfortable experience at Prairie Star Ranch, operated by the Archdiocese of Kansas City, KS.  We're planning the event to be compliant with social distancing requirements in the age of Covid 19, and Camp Tekakwitha staff have developed protocols and guidelines to keep everyone safe. Guests traveling from out of town may inquire about an overnight stay for nominal cost.  Retreat participants stay overnight in heated dorms with bunkbeds and modern plumbing.  A commercial kitchen allows F.I.R.E. teams to prepare and serve meals to our guests.  The chapel of Saint Kateri Tekakwitha allows all of us to pray, reflect and celebrate the sacraments of the Catholic faith. Check out our gallery and videos from previous years.Â
